We Welcome Your Donation
The Farmington Fuel Bank provides one-time emergency fuel assistance to Farmington residents. Residents are qualified to receive fuel assistance by the Town of Farmington Social Services Department, and the Farmington Community Chest administers the funds. State of Connecticut funding for fuel assistance is often difficult to obtain, or may only be paid at certain times and for certain amounts. The Farmington Fuel Bank provides a bridge during these times to assist our residents.

The Farmington Fuel Bank has been in existence for many years, predominately funded by the Farmington Community Chest. With more and more people in need, the Farmington Community Chest relies on support from our community. Civic organizations, churches, clubs, PTO’s, and individuals are encouraged to donate to this fund. The Farmington Fuel Bank funds are maintained separately from the Farmington Community Chest general fund, which assists many other entities in town.
All Donations are Tax Deductable
The Farmington Community Chest is a registered 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization (ID #06-1347303). With no administrative costs, 100% of all donations go directly towards charity projects within the Farmington Community, and all donations are tax deductable. The Farmington Community Chest works very hard to improve Farmington, making a noticable impact on a local level. We hope that you will consider donating to this worthy cause.
